Valentines Day is a day for love. I have always loved Valentines Day, even when I was single I loved Valentines Day! My mom made Valentines Day special at our house, and even when in college she made sure she sent me special Valentines.
I have heard my fair share of single ladies complain about Valentines Day and what it stood for. I have even heard "I do not need a day to celebrate love." I know Valentines Day is a day for love, and love is everywhere. Married, single, widow, whatever you are in life you have love somewhere.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We all have a God in Heaven who sent his only Son to die for us. He is love, and because He loves me I have the ability to love others.
Today, I shared the day loving my husband, of course. I loved my kids, my sister, brothers, friends, neighbours and extended family! I decorated for the kids, made them a special breakfast, played games, had a "red" supper, and then ended the day watching a movie with my main man. My day was full of love, everyday that I am alive my day is full of love.I love loving my family, and if Hallmark made a day to celebrate love, I am going to celebrate. No I do not need a special day...but it is fun to have one!!!
