A Story to Make You Smile!!

Psalm 37:4  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 

When we left the States we left some things behind. One of the hardest things to leave was a doll house that my Kat had gotten for Christmas 2011. She loved her doll house and the dolls that go with it. We had intented to ship it over, however, it would not fit in our shipping boxes and we were not able to afford to have it sent. Kat missed her doll house and she would see it in pictures and make some comment about how much she loved and missed it!
As a mom, I felt kinda bad she did not have it. However, I knew there was no way that we were going to be able to get her one here so it was what it was. Then there was Craigslist!!!
Yes, Guam has a Craigslist and we check it frequently!! Monday my husband was browsing and saw a brand new listing (posted while he was on Craigslist) for a doll house. The picture was the exact one Kat left in the states. We contacted the seller right away, and was able to get the doll house. It is like new and the lady gave us all the people and furniture she had at no extra cost. We also got a GREAT deal on it.
This may not seem big to you, but to a little 3 year old girl, who just moved across the world, and who had to leave one of her most favorite toys it was the world. I know that my Heavenly Father cares about children, and I like to think that Psalms 37:4 applies to them too!! Kat had no choice but to move to Guam, and the Lord has blessed her personally. Kat has seen God answer a prayer just for her! Now, doesn't that make you smile!
